Unfinished: Black Media and the Politics of Absence

A curated screening and research program examining unreleased, fragmentary, and unfinished works within Black film and media history. Through archival research, screenings, and discussion, the program explores questions of authorship, institutional power, memory, and the cultural significance of incomplete or inaccessible works. Presented in partnership with institutions including Orange Coast College, The Archer School for Girls, and Loyola Marymount University.

Media Autopsy

Media Autopsy is designed for galleries, museums, libraries, and educational spaces seeking an alternative to lectures or discussion-based programs. It offers viewers the rare opportunity to encounter images beyond the pressure to move on, and to recognize how contemporary habits of looking shape the way meaning forms.

Soul Sundays is a hands-on creative workshop designed to help participants “brain dump” ideas, memories, emotions, and creative impulses onto the page. By the end of the session, each participant will leave with a clearer creative direction and a tangible plan to move forward with a project or body of work.

Psychology of the Lost Film is a learning experienced exploring lost and impartial films from early American cinema.
